Passenger Stock

Passenger stock is a mix of modified R-T-R and kit built.

Kit built coaches are built from Comet kits. Modifications include:

Bill Bedford sprung bogies with exactoscale wheels

Kadee couplings

Masokits corridor connections

The majority of R-T-R coaches are Bachmann BR Mark 1 stock. Modifications include:

Bill Bedford sprung bogies with exactoscale wheels

Kadee couplings

Masokits corridor connections and brake rigging

Removal of ridges from roof before spraying with Railmatch roof dirt

Weathering

Local Passenger (WR)

Set 1

Made up of Comet kit built coaches of which only two have been completed to date. Another outdoor shot!

These are ex GWR Collett designed coaches, a Composite Diag.E162 and Brake Third Diag.D95

Eventually these will be joined by a Hawksworth Brake Third Diag.D133 and a Collett Third Diag.C67

Non Corridor Third Diag.C83 GWR design by Hawksworth but built by BR in 1951

This coach is scratch built running on Bill Bedford sprung bogies with MJT cosmetic sides and Exactoscale wheels

Local Passenger (MR)

This will be the Bristol to Birmingham all stations and will comprise the following ex LMS coaches built from Comet etched kits:

Corridor Brake First Diag.D1654, Corridor Composite Diag.D2159, Corridor Third Diag.D2170, Open Third Diag.D1915, Open Third Diag.D1999, Corridor Third Diag.D1899 and Corridor Brake Third Diag.D1905.

'The Cornishman'

This is the only train that has been completed to date. It is made up of Bachmann Mk1 stock in BR(W) chocolate and cream livery.

The train comprises Corridor Brake Second (BSK), 2 no. Corridor Seconds (SK), 2 no. Corridor Composites (CK), Restaurant Car (RU), Open Second (SO), Corridor Second (SK) and Corridor Brake Second (BSK)

Other Passenger Trains

I have sixteeen maroon BR Mk.1 coaches which will be augmented by some older stock to make up a couple of fast passenger formations. There is also a DMU set sitting somewhere in my stock cupboard waiting to be built!
