Dooey Strand , Donegal

Dooey Strand is a 3km long beach with views west across Gweebarra Bay to Narin and Portnoo. It is popular with surfers and its length and flatness make it ideal for sand yachting. The beach is backed by high dunes. The above shot was taken between showers on a crisp morning in November.
